I managed to resolve the "failed to download the file" issue by adjusting something in my security solution. For me Bitdefender was causing issues with downloading updates for the launcher (when using the launcher downloaded from the B&S website), and when downloading/updating the game. Delete the BnS folder that is in C:\Program Files (x86)\NCSOFT as a default directory. Note: By chance that you are unable to fully delete the folder, please perform a PC restart. Open the launcher. Click Search game then locate the desired directory, open BnS folder and apply the configuration. You can now start the game though the Launcher. Bns failed to download the file
By vegasbutcherJanuary 15, in Player to Player Support. Please restart the launcher. No idea what it can be getting a bit upset cause I didnt buy the founders pack to not be able to get on. I had this problem last night and a few hours ago. I uninstalled then re-downloaded the launcher but it's taking even longer although there are less GB. I don't even if it's because of my internet speed or it's due to the amount of ppl who are trying to download the patch at the same time It'd be helpful if there was a resolution Same problem just gives me an error think ill wait till servers can handle it or ill just be reinstalling for the fun of it.
Download servers should be fine. If you're experiencing issues still, re-install the game itself. Drop the CBT client. For what ever reason, it seems that those emails got the old link and not the new OBT client.
Got to reinstall form the website. NC cant be bothered to change it so grab both cheeks and get that DL going again.
