I didn't want to leave this "case" open and wanted to share what I discovered.
It was simpler than any of us were thinking. When I had pointed my old default folder to a new location on an external hard drive by using that Location tab we spoke of earlier it changes the folder structure of the folder left in the old directory.
So that's why I wasn't seeing the Location tab. When I went to my external drive G: there was my default folder. You get the point. Let me know if you understand.
